XLRI Jamshedpur Doctoral Level programmes FPM Executive Fellowship Programme in Management EFPM 

This fellowship allows programmes in some areas of specialization like Finance, Economics, Operations Management, Organizational Behavior, Information Systems, Marketing, Strategic Management and Human Resource Management. It is a residential doctoral programme in which proper training is given to the scholars and talented students to make them become a highly innovative researchers and teachers in various cores of Management. Main aim of this programme is to prepare the students for carrier.

Fellowship Reward:

Only Full-time Residential students will be awarded with the Rs. 20,000/- per month which is the fellowship reward during their 1st and 2nd year of education and for the period of next two years reward prize is Rs.25, 000/-per month. Students can use the computer, course material, tuition and library without paying any single rupees. Maximum time of the fellowship benefits is only four years. Fellowship can only get the extension of six months on the recommendation of the Associate Dean for FPM and Research. From the fourth year of fellowship, a student can work as a Research Teaching Assistant.

Eligibility:

Interested students must have to complete Master’s Degree with minimum of 55% aggregated marks in the final year. 5% relaxation is provided for the SC/ ST candidates. Candidates who pass  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification with 60% marks after the minimum 10+2+3 years of their education are also eligible for the admission. The candidates who possess the professional qualification like ICWA/CA/ CS with minimum 55% marks or B.E. / B. Tech. Degree with 60% marks are also eligible. In those category minimum 50% marks requires for the candidates who belongs from the reserved category.

Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM) is also available on the part-time and Non-residential programme. Eligibility for Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana fellowship:

The fellowship is given to only Indian national studding in India. For basic science stream. The student who enrolled in 11th standard science subject has minimum 75 % for ST, SC candidate 65 % marks in science &mathematics subject in 10th standard examination. For stream SB student who enrolled for first year BSc, BS, INT. MSc have minimum 60 % for ST,SC candidate 50 % marks in science subject in 12th standard examination student are eligible. For Medicine stream the candidate who completes 12th standard examination with 75 % for ST, SC candidate 65 % marks in science subject or passed first professional MBBS examination with minimum 60 % marks for ST, SC candidate 50 % marks are eligible for this fellowship.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidate are based on the performance in board examination up to 6 thousand candidate are called for written examination out of these student only 500 student are selected for personal interview this is the final stage for the selection of candidate. Eligibility for Indian institute of Geomagnetism research fellowship: 

Candidate must complete post Graduation MSc, MSc tech in physics, applied mathematics, geophysics, and applied physics with minimum 60 % marks. The maximum age limit of candidate is not more than 28 years.

Candidate required applying on plain paper and candidate must give his or her name, address, age with academic record university, year of passing and attested copies of certificate. Women Scientist Research Scholarship Scheme (TIFAC) has been established in the year 2002. The Department of Science and Technology of India played major role in establishment of this scheme. Women Scientist Research Scholarship scheme has been introduced only for women who have been qualified in Science discipline.  The main aim behind giving scholarship is to give training to women for patent searches in Patent Facilitating Centre and how to prepare a technology scan report. 

Eligibility Criteria for TIFAC:

• Candidates should have been passed M Sc. /Ph D. In Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, or B.E. / B. Tech.,M. Tech or MBBS/ MS/MD/MV Sc./B Pharma /M Pharma with good results. Also with the good record in their Academic years.

• The candidates who are having Higher Qualification may also apply.

• Candidate should have the knowledge about the computers, to handle the data base and about the net surfing.

• If any candidate has the past experience of research, preparing project reports, first preference will be given to them.

• Age limitation for the candidates is 50 years. No candidate more then 50 years can apply for the Scholarship.

Scholarship:

• The candidates who has been passed and qualified M.Sc./B. Tech/M.B.B.S., maximum scholarship of Rs.10,000/- per month will be permissible to them

• Whereas, the candidates who did Ph. D/ M. Tech, M Pharma/ MV Sc./ M.D., maximum scholarship of Rs. 15,000/-will be permissible.

Selection Process:

• Candidates which are qualified (in the criteria) will be selected for the test and interview.

• Candidates will have to give written exam first.

• After the exam, candidates which are qualified for the interview will be short listed and further Interview will held on the desired given date.
