Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships for Indian students to study in UK

Commonwealth scholarship and fellowship is an international programme. Commonwealth scholarship commission provides annual scheme is available to all commonwealth countries. This programme was managed by ministry of human resources development, government of India, association of commonwealth universities and British council. The scheme offers fifty five scholarships is given to following subject social sciences, humanities, agriculture, applied science, engineering and technology, and medicine. Commonwealth scholarship is available in following countries. Australia, Brunei, Darussalam, Canada, Singapore, New Zealand, Malta, Cyprus, India, Pakistan, Hong Kong, Zambia and Zimbabwe etc.

Candidate who want to apply for the scholarship those candidate write applications on plain paper for nominations from India for the award of scholarship. About sixty applications are sent to commonwealth scholarship commission for final selection of candidate, only 25 candidates are selected for the scholarship. Candidate age should not be more than 40 years of age on 15/09/2010 and that candidate must complete his or her education in English medium. The scholarship was awarded to MBBS, MD, MS, BDS degree holders and those candidate has six month of clinical training in ENT, Neurology, orthopedics, dentistry, medicine, gynecology, cardiology and cancer research.

The scholarship was awarded to engineering and technology in following trade Marine engineering, Mining Engineering, Material science, civil engineering, Aeronautics, computer science, robotics, biotechnology, communication engineering, remote sensing engineering, environmental studies, electrical and electronics. Candidate get air fare to the UK by the most direct and economical route. Approved examination fees and tuition fees, Candidate get monthly allowance, a grant for expenses of approved travel within United Kingdom. Candidate only apply for only one subject, and application is submit on following address.
