National Brain Research Centre Post Doctoral Fellowships, NBRC Fellowships

National Brain Research Centre Post Doctoral Fellowships was started in the year of 2003. The inauguration of the NBRC fellowship is done by Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam. As the name indicates this fellowship is only available for the doctoral sector and awarded in the post doctoral programs. The National Brain Research Centre is located at the Haryana, India. This fellowship is research oriented thus candidates who has the interest in research work are heartily invited for the fellowship programme.

Eligibility for the NBRC fellowship:

Ph.D. in Neuroscience:

Candidates who completes there Ph. D. in any branch of the general area of Neurosciences or brain research are eligible for the programme. The candidate must have to carry good academic record in the Ph. D. programme. Candidates who belong from the different academic background (M.B.B.S. / B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech / M. Pharma) other than the medical are also eligible for this programme. But he / she must have to maintain good academic record in there concern study.

M.Sc. in Neuroscience:

Students who completes there education from M. Sc. faculty and now doing Ph. D. in Neuroscience field are also eligible for the fellowship programme.

Fellowship rewards:

The candidate who is belongs from the Ph.D. Program in Neuroscience are gets around Rs. 8000 per month. And the candidates who are from the integrated M.Sc., Ph.D. program in neuroscience are get around Rs. 1000 per month.

General Information:

Admissions for the fellowship are carried out with the help of the interview, which is held in the month of the May. Selection is purely depends upon the performance of the individual.
