J. N. Tata Endowment Scholarships Program (JNTE)
J.N. Tata endowment scholarship is established by Jamsetji N.Tata, Tata group. It was started in 1892 to promote young candidate to avail higher education at some of the best university in abroad. This is the first trust which is established by the JamsetjiN. Tata. This trust provides loan scholarships to a large number of deserving individual candidate to complete education abroad. After death of sir dorabji Tata wife he donatesall his wealth to the trust. For the advancement of learning and research. He died after 3 month later. The trust also helps various organizations, they give individual grants which consist of endowment grants, Non government organization and small grants, individual grants are given to travel, medical, or for educational purpose.
Eligibility for J. N. Tata endowment scholarship:
Candidate should complete graduation from recognized university with consistently good record. Candidate must be Indian citizen and age limit is 45 years. All Indian nationals of caste, socio-economic background, creed, community, gender and geographical location.Student who waiting for final year graduate result also eligible to apply. Midcareer professionals and Academicians with experience are also eligible to apply.
General information:
J. N. Tata endowment scholarship is given every year, through advertisement in allIndiannewspaper. They typically gives the advertise December month. The application forms are available at endowment administrative office by cash, money order, and demand draft. Submit the form along with all required certificate before the last date of submission. Selected candidate are called for personal interview in Mumbai,In March and June month. They every year give scholarship to 120 students.They give loan scholarship of rupees sixty thousand to four lakhs.
