GIIS SINGAPORE SCHOLARSHIPS
GIIS stands for the Global Indian International School. This is an Asia’s leading school chain with nearly 21 schools. These schools are located in the different country like Singapore, USA, India, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand and UAE etc. These schools offer quality education under the international circulars. More than 25,000 students are pursing different educational programs in the GIIS. The GIIS was established in 2001 in Singapore. GIIS also receives several awards for the field of good international education. GIIS offers the junior college scholarship for the student of 11th and 12th standard. This scholarship is of two years and sponsored by the Global Indian Foundation. This scholarship mainly provides for the Indian students who are pursing the education outside of India through the Global Indian International School.
Eligibility criteria for GIIS Scholarship:
To get this scholarship student have to get minimum 85% in the 10th standard which is the pre board examination. The CBSE, ICES or any other state boards are necessary for the students and English must be the first language in the study. Scholarship is provided on the base of entrance examination. The entrance examination is of written type and conducted in the all main cities of India. Only the eligible candidates are allow to give the entrance exam. The subjects for the examination are General knowledge, Mathematics and English.
Covering Areas:
The scholarship is of $ 66,000 per student, in that total fee of student, leaving expenses for two years and travelling expenses are includes. Beyond that annual allowance is also provided which is of $ 2400. Scholarship also covers the one written fair of the flight from India to Singapore and some medical allowances.
