Tata Memorial Centre Junior Research Fellow

The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is the national extensive cancer Centre for the treatment, prevention, education and research in Cancer. The TMC is consisting of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) and Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH). They conduct PhD program in Life Sciences. Tata Memorial Centre is affiliated to the Mumbai University, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and National Board of Examinations.

Eligibility for Tata Memorial Centre Junior Research Fellow:

Candidates should complete post graduate degree from recognized university but university is required affiliation from University Grants Commissionin any subjects like Pharmacy, Veterinary Science, Medicine, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Life Sciences,Biophysics,Applied Biology and Zoology with minimum 55 percent marks in aggregate. Candidates who waiting for result they are also applicable for Scholarships.

How to apply:

Candidate can submit application through online from their official website. Candidates fill the application form along with required document and pay fees through demand draft in favor of TMCACTREC within date of submission.
 

Selection procedure:

Selection of candidate for junior research scholarships are based on written examination. the written examination consist of objective type question after the examination  passed candidates list are displayed on their official website. These candidates are called for personal interview for final selection list of successful Junior Research Scholars.

General Information:

Candidate belong to ST, SC and physically handicapped these candidates are not required to pay the fees by demand draft but these candidates are required to submit proof of cast certificate. Selected candidates get stipend of Rupees sixteen thousand and 30 percent HRA every month.

The Tata memorial center is a recognized training center for research and cancer education. The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) is the national extensive cancer Centre for the treatment, prevention, education and research in Cancer. Tata memorial center is commissioned by the sir dorabji Tata trust on 28th Feb 1941 as a center. The TMC is consisting of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) and Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH). They conduct PhD program in Life Sciences. Tata Memorial Centre is affiliated to the Mumbai University, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences and National Board of Examinations.

Eligibility for Tata Memorial Centre senior Research Fellow: 

Candidate should complete post graduation degree MSc from recognized university with minimum 55 % marks in life science or biochemistry, applied biology and two research experience in national research institute, candidate should prove he or she is expertise in basic molecular biology techniques and familiar with tissue culture.

Application procedure:

Application procedure for senior research fellowship. Along with enclosure and recent passport size photo and send this by proper channel (if candidate is employed in government, semi government or in public sector) to administrative office of Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer.

General Information:

Candidate get stipend of 14 thousand rupees and HRA. This stipend is given till project period of senior research fellowship. TMC is an autonomous grant in aid institution of department of atomic energy. The TMC provide education and research by international and national organization lie UICC, IAEA and WHO. At TMC eighty post graduates get admission for doctorate or master courses. Every year four hundred student get training in non-medical and medical fields.
