Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fellowship
The Jawaharlal Nehru memorial fellowship is come into begins when committee has one hundred ten members and it was convened on seventeen august 1964 in New Delhi. Jawaharlal Nehru is the first prime minister of India after Independence of India. He is freedom fighter. The first committee of fellowship has 22 members and the members were provided by Dr.zakir Husain.This fellowship is given to any fellow who are in the any field of discipline in science or any other subjects. The fellowship is also given to civil servant artist, journalists, or writer.
Eligibility for Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Fellowship
The fellowship is given to any scholars in every discipline. But those students require proving the capacity of outstanding work and creative projects.Sixty per cent marks in master degree and age is not above 35 years. In the age of 40 and 50 if the fellow get fellowship for long period this is much more beneficial to the India. This fellowship is only given to Indian citizen and that candidate has complete freedom to work in any place in India.
How to apply to fellowship:
Candidate may send the application form on following address secretary, Jawaharlal Nehru memorial fund, teen Maruti house New Delhi 110001. Or get application form by cash payment in any SBI bank and send deposited slip with completes application form. And send this application form before June month. Along with following document bio data included with details of original work, project report, undertaking in the encloses format and copy of recent passport size photograph and experience in the field. If the candidate is working in center or state government those candidates send the application through proper channel.
General Information:
The candidate should work in following field environment, economics, Indian history, sociology regional and culture, science and technology. The candidate gets 12 thousand monthly stipends.
