The university gives 100 prestigious Cardiff university scholarships. Each student gets £3,000 of scholarship and this scholarship is paid by cash and is not means tested. The scholarship is only available to under graduates’ students beginning their studies in September. This scholarship is given to following subjects zoology, welsh, physics, molecular biology, microbiology, Italian, German, Genetics, Ecology, earth and ocean  sciences, computer science, chemistry, archaeology, Engineering which include following trades medical engineering, computer systems engineering, electrical and electronics, electronic and communication, integrated engineering.

The scholarship is awarded to UK students who coming to Cardiff university in September and selects one of the given subjects as undergraduate subject. This scholarship is given to those students who archive AAA at A level, there are several terms and condition for the scholarship for these terms please visits the official website. For this scholarship candidate are not requires to apply for the scholarship when candidate get admission to this university it automatically considered for an award.

If any candidate successfully get the scholarship those candidate notified in writing as soon as possible in September. Successful student receive £1500in the first year if candidate performance is satisfactory in that subject the remaining £1500 will be paid in equal installment in each remaining year. These payments paid directly on student bank account or by cheques. If any candidate fail in examination or candidate get grade below the normal level for these student the award willnormally be cancelled.
